Prayer

Please Pray for my family. I have been with out a job for now 4 weeks I have looked and looked and just cant get my foot in the door anywhere. Its really hard on us right now with the bill still coming in and all You know i never really thought about the bills that much we had it most times to make it Now i just pray we will have power water and a home. Mark and i sit down the other night and cut back on thing that we could cut back on and all i kept saying is we don't need this and that i just don't want to be homeless and he would say honey we want i will work more hr and this hurt me so bad i know how tired he is and he gets up at 5 to be there by 6 and gets home at 7 i know how those hr are and how much i missed. We started looking for a new place to live that would be less on us but everyone wants a deposit yes it would help us in months to come with a less rent but to move cost money as well so we will keep trying and praying I have been cleaning houses to make money. Its still just really hard right now and I know that your prayers will help out.

I also want to say this My husband is a wonderful man I always known this but like i said i have not worked for 4 weeks and when i did he had a full plate on him and I see now how hard it was for him with three kids 2 teenagers and 1 two yr old . He was mom and dad. and I just want to say never take for granted what someone is doing because you never know. I have missed out on so much i never even knew. I when to my first ball game for the girls and got to go from the start to finish that was awesome. And kaydon our 2yr old i have got to spend some time with him Just me and him and man has he grown up.

I took life for granted that all was good when i was making good money and never thought of who is was hurting and I truly sorry Mark Megan Whitley, Kaydon I love you very much

So please pray that work will come .

Thank you

Hands
Thank you Lord for dirty handsThat touch my stove and fridge; For sticky little fingers thatTry to build a bridge.
For careless hands that go astrayIn search of something new;For hands to hold and show the wayAs mothers often do.
For precious little hands in whichGreat faith so abounds; For silly little hands that reachTo touch a mother's frown.
And thank you for your guiding handThat leads me to the light; That lifts me when I stumbleAnd points me to the right.

RECIPE

Easy Chicken Enchilada’s ****Are you getting your recipes ready?
Ingredients2 cups cooked, shredded chicken2 10 oz cans Enchilada Sauce (or 2 cans of cream mushroom soup mixed w/water) 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (I use Kraft 2% milk cheddar)1 12 ct. pkg. flour tortillasDirections1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Heat chicken, 3/4 cup enchilada sauce, and 1 cup cheese in skillet until warmed through and cheese is melted.2. Spoon enchilada filling onto tortillas; roll up and place seam-side down in lightly greased 13x9x2 baking dish.3. Pour remaining enchilada sauce over top; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
You can make this same recipe with 1 pound cooked ground beef. I use Mission brand Carb Balance tortillas because they taste fantastic - just like a regular flour tortilla - but they are low fat and high in fiber (7 grams of fiber in each one!).

Read this devotional as a prayer

Help me, Lord, to develop a strong prayer life. I know you desire intimacy with me, and you want me to watch with you and pray (Matthew 26:40).
Yet, I never seem to find the time to pray in a deep, fervent, consistent, persistent way. What draws me to my knees the most is when I have a problem, when I want something from you, when I need your help.
I’m flipping through my calendar, stressing with commitments, and you just want to hang out – with me. Help me turn my prayers into conversations with you that keep flowing throughout the day, an on-going communication where I never say “Amen.”
Keep me close to you, no matter what it takes. I’m not sure I really want to pray that; I have bruises and scars from “whatever it takes” discipleship, but, then again, I confess the crush of these moments have taught me to throw myself on the stone before the stone falls on me.
And that has moved me closer to the love that compels my obedience, closer to becoming one with your heart. So, I’m asking that you change me until my deepest want is to be with you.
With this I pray that you will create me worthy of my calling and that your power will fulfill every good purpose you plan for me and energize everything I do in faith.
My prayer is that your life will emerge in my face and in my hands, in my thoughts and in my words. I know your grace will make it so (paraphrase of 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12, NIV).

I love this kid
